At the HiLASE Centre we want to share our enthusiasm for lasers with everyone, even the little ones. Our colleague, Martin Smrž, therefore organized a morning program for children from the Molecule children’s group run by the Centre for Shared Activities of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
The little researchers learned how the laser works, what it is for and what a scientist has to do to go to the so-called clean laboratory.
In HiLASE Centre, we strive not only to make science more attractive to the general public, but also to inspire talented young people to get more involved in science and research. That is why we organize a series of events for schoolchildren, secondary and university students as well as for the public. If you wish to learn more, you can browse the educational website www.czechlasers.cz, check the upcoming events on our websites or follow us on Facebook.
