The Brno-based company TRL Space Systems is about to push the horizons of the space industry by launching its own satellite called TROLL into Earth orbit in mid-2024. The satellite will also include a specially modified LiDAR device, which TRL Space is developing together with the HiLASE Centre. The device, in conjunction with the detector, will be able to monitor objects moving in orbit with high accuracy, thus improving space traffic security.
