On December 9 – 10, 2020 at the HiLASE Centre, the 4th BIATRI Workshop was organized by the department Scientific Laser Applications (SLA). The Workshop aimed at discussing achievements and further directions of the BIATRI Project with external collaborators.
The topics discussed cover all project packages that include fundamentals of laser-matter interaction and ultrafast phenomena; synthesis, characterization, applications of nanomaterials; laser processing; photonics, nonlinear optics and spectroscopy; biophotonics.
The Workshop was organized in the online format and has attracted great interest in the laser community. 56 researchers from 9 countries (Belarus, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Finland, France, Russia, UK, and Uzbekistan) took part in the Workshop.
The SLA team gave 11 presentations and national and international collaborators gave 21 presentations. All presentations raised vivid discussions and were highly evaluated by the attendees.
