Sunil Pathak, Marek Böhm, Jan Kaufman, Sanin Zulić, Ondřej Stránský, Jan Brajer, and Tomáš Mocek from the HiLASE Centre are the co-authors of a new paper, which was recently published in the Journal of Manufacturing Processes.
The paper, titled Surface integrity of SLM manufactured meso-size gears in laser shock peening without coating, is concerned with the application of Laser Shock Peening on gears manufactured through selective laser melting. The other of the co-authors of the paper were Jaromír Kopeček (Institute of Physics of the CAS), Ashish Shukla (Atlas Skilltech University), Libor Beránek (CTU in Prague), J. Radhakrisnan (Polytechnical University of Madrid), and Danijela Rostohar (Coventry University).
