On Wednesday, 2nd June, the HiLASE Centre hosted a meeting of the Czech Optical Cluster, focused on laser technologies and applications.
Czech Optical Cluster was created with the aim to improve the conditions for optical industry development in the Czech Republic through cooperation of companies, public sector and educational sector in the entire value chain in the field of optics, optomechatronics, photonics, optoelectronics and fine mechanics, including related production, technology and service development in supplier’s and customer’s domain. Its activities are mainly carried out in the following five pillars: industrial and consumer optics, military optics, light technology, microscopy and laser technologies and applications. The aim of the meeting was mainly to initiate closer cooperation between the cluster members.
