The HiLASE Centre is offering its superb research infrastructure to other users, free of charge! Just now it is the right time to submit your proposal at the electronic HiLASE Open Access Proposal Management System. The call for proposals is open from 28th March to 9th May 2022, enabling the access to our facilities in 2023.
We provide successful applicants with access to short-term open access to our top-grade facilities, such as:
- High power lasers: high energy nanosecond Bivoj laser, high repetition rate picosecond PERLA B & PERLA C lasers, DG laser;
- Stations for laser applications: Laser Induced Damage Threshold, Laser Shock Peening, laser micromachining with PERLA C and with Pharos laser;
- Characterisation devices: Scanning Electron Microscope, X-ray Diffractometer, Raman Spectrometer & Atomic Force Microscope, Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope.
The call for proposals is a perfect opportunity both for researchers with an experiment with low repetition rate that needs to be piloted on a high average power, and for researchers preparing an experiment with high average power lasers.
