On Thursday, September 7, 2017, HiLASE Laser Center researchers were pleased to welcome a delegation from the Korean institution KETI at their workplace in Dolní Břežany. Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI) is a leader in modern technology and focuses mainly on cooperation in the field of automotive, IT, lasers and biomedicine. The representatives of the company, led by its President, Chungwon Park, visited HiLASE Center especially in connection with the ongoing bilateral project funded by TA CR (Technology Agency of the Czech Republic). Based on the successful development of the joint project, the partners discussed the possibilities to significantly expand and further deepen their cooperation.
As part of their visit to the Czech Republic, the KETI delegation also met with the President of the Czech Academy of Sciences prof. Eva Zažímalová, with whom they discussed the future of the Czech-Korean cooperation in research.
