Our colleague, Jan Brajer, Head of the Industrial Laser Applications Department at the HiLASE Centre, has been nominated for the Governor’s Award of the Central Bohemian Region. Help him win by casting your vote!
This prestigious award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the development of the region. While most categories are decided by an expert panel, the public award is entirely in your hands.
“Mr. Jan Brajer is a top expert of the HiLASE Centre and his know-how in the field of technology transfer has significantly helped to apply advanced laser systems in the energy, automotive, aerospace and joint implant industries,” states his introduction on the polling website. “He is also a long-term representative of the Brain4Industry consortium, where he has been instrumental in ensuring that Central Bohemian lasers accelerate the development of Czech companies and new products. At the same time, Jan Brajer is also active in academia, where he is helping to educate a new generation of experts.”
