The Israeli Minister of Science, Technology and Space Ofir Akunis with his delegation visited the ELI Beamlines and HiLASE laser centres in Dolni Brezany on the 26th of June 2017.
The minister was welcomed by the director of the Instute of Physics Michael Prouza. The beginning of his visit was devoted to the presentation of the ELI scientific mission presented by the ELI Beamlines manager Roman Hvezda and was followed by Lukáš Masopust and his presentations of the laser centre HiLASE and the Central Bohemia region presentation.
In short discussion, it was told about successful Czech-Israeli cooperation and Minister Akunis expressed the hope that the Czech-Israeli cooperation will continue also within the centers ELI and HiLASE.
Afterwards, the delegation visited the ELI and HiLASE laser and experimental halls.
