On 8-9 August, the project meeting and interactive workshop of the BROMI – Breakthrough Optoelectronic Materials for Instrumentation project took place at the HiLASE Centre. The main goal of the project is to build a portfolio of new optoelectronic products, where the functional core single crystal product will be complemented by additional components to a high added value functional instrumentation unit. During several discussion forums, representatives of the HiLASE Centre, FZU, CRYTUR, and Lightigo reviewed the project and identified key challenges and opportunities for further collaboration.
