Czech lasers catch Taiwan’s attention

A new article by the news medium VědaVýzkum.cz has highlighted the cooperation between Czech and Taiwanese institutions in the field of semiconductors, including HiLASE Centre’s projects. The Czech delegation, including HiLASIAN Sanin Zulić (International Business Development Manager), participated in the Semicon Taiwan semiconductor fair this September.

The unique lasers from ELI Beamlines and HiLASE are getting a lot of attention in Taiwan, being unparalleled there. “HiLASE is working with Taiwan’s Industrial Technology Research Institute ITRI to develop a laser for 3D printing of aluminium,” said Sanin Zulic, who represented HiLASE’s research centre in the Czech delegation. Together with the Czech company Crytur and Taiwan’s National Tsing Hua University, HiLASE is also developing a cost-effective pulsed laser pumped by light-emitting diodes for industrial and medical applications.”
