On Thursday 5.11. the second China International Import Expo (CIIE) was opened in Shanghai. This prestigious exhibition is attended by over 170 countries and regions, and this year the Czech Republic was given the status of one of the partner countries. Among nearly four thousand companies and institutions there is also the HiLASE Centre (Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences) taking part. The head of the center, Tomáš Mocek, presented the HiLASE Centre to the Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies Radek Vondráček and the president of the Confederation of Industry and Transport Jaroslav Hanak, who both head the Czech delegation. Therefore the HiLASE center has a unique opportunity to stand with TOP Czech companies and Chinese business partners and thus open up new opportunities at the Chinese market.
During his stay in China, Tomáš Mocek also visited Shanghai Superintense Ultrafast Laser Facility (SULF). The purpose of the visit was to discuss the possibilities of future cooperation and supplies of laser technologies.
