Centre of Photon and Electron Optics received the Technology agency award

During the gala evening of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic at the National Museum, the project Centre for Photon and Electron Optics, in which the HiLASE Centre participates, was awarded in the Partnership category. Ilona Müllerová, Vice President of the Academy of Sciences, accepted the award on behalf of all participating institutes.

The awarded project brings together all key academic and industrial players in the Czech Republic in the field of photon and electron optics under the leadership of the principal beneficiary, the Institute of Scientific Instruments. By using advanced technologies in the field of particle characteristics for imaging in the microworld and nanoworld, this project puts the Czech Republic on a par with world leaders.

For the twelfth time, the gala evening honoured the best applied research projects and also celebrated a significant anniversary of the Technology Agency: 15 years of support for cutting-edge research and innovation.
