The building of the HiLASE Centre is located in the municipality of Dolni Brezany, just a few kilometers south of Prague. The construction was started on the basis of the Len + K studio project in January 2012, and in January 2014 the building was successfully approved. Together with the neighboring ELI laser center, the HiLASE Centre is one of the largest scientific complexes in the Czech Republic.
On the ground floor of the center, on the area of about 700 square meters there are laboratories with high-performance lasers and technical background. Due to the minimum vibration requirements, the hall section has been separated from the rest of the structure. From the laboratories on the first floor, laser beams are led by special tubes into experimental halls located on the second floor. On the first and second floor of the building there are also administrative facilities and seminar and meeting rooms.
