The HiLASE Centre (Institute of Physics) cordially invites you to the next edition of the Researchers’ Night, which will take place all over the Czech Republic on Friday 6.10.2023 from 5pm to 9pm.
This year’s theme will be Mystery.
What can you look forward to this year?
- LECTURE | The mystery of physics all around us (CZ) | 17:30 – 18:30 | PERLA seminar room | Jan Kaufman
- GUIDED TOURS | 5:30pm (cz) | 6:15pm (cz) | 7:00pm (cz) | 7:45pm (eng) | Have a look inside one of our experimental halls during a guided tour with a Laser Shock Peening expert! (Suitable for those over 12 years of age.)
- MOVIE THEATRE FOR YOUNG SCIENTISTS | For the youngest generation of researchers, we have prepared a proper movie theatre showing our three physics fairy tales: Aladin a kouzelná lampa, Myší kožíšek and Dlouhý, široký a bystrozraký.
- OPTICAL LAB | A traditional part of open days at the HiLASE Centre is an optical lab full of experiments explaining basic priciples of physics, such as light difraction.
- LASER MAZE | Become a secret agent in our laser maze – can you get through without touching the beams?
