Do not miss a talk by HiLASIANS at the Tech Conference, taking place on the 21st and 22nd of October in the Slovak hotel SITNO Vyhne. Miroslava Flimelová (research assistant, LMM) and Jan Šmaus (LSP technologist) will introduce our approach to laser safety for their applications of interest: Laser Micromachining and Laser Shock Peening.

Jan Šmaus will introduce the work of the LSP team and explain which safety precautions are in place in their experimental hall. Miroslava Flimelová will describe the wide range of applications of LMM and the safety aspects of its use. Together, they will introduce the portfolio of laser safety courses within our Laser & Safety Training Centre, as well as other collaboration opportunities to ensure safe work with lasers.
The Tech Conference is a regular event bringing together manufacturers and operators of machinery and provides an overview of current and upcoming safety requirements in operations. Lectures by Czech and Slovak experts are complemented by a rich social programme.
