The twenty-third edition of the International Symposium on High-Power Laser Systems and Applications, which had been held in many different cities across the world since 1976, returns to Prague this June. Co-organised by the HiLASE Centre, this year’s event will be another opportunity to bring together scientists, engineers and end-users in the field of high-power lasers.
The week-long symposium will include talks, posters and brainstorming discussions on laser technologies – from the basics to brand new innovative solutions. The twenty-one speakers at the symposium will include:
- Jorge J. Rocca (Colorado State University, USA)
- Takunori Taira (RIKEN SPring-8 Center, Japan)
- Oliver Lux (German Aerospace Center DLR, Germany)
- Boris Barmashenko (Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Israel)
- Yicheng Wang (Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany)
- Thomas Harrer (TRUMPF Laser- und Systemtechnik, Germany)
- Paul Mason (Central Laser Facility, UK)
- Daniele Margarone (Queen’s University Belfast, UK & ELI Beamlines, Czech Republic)
WHEN: 13. – 16. 6. 2022
